Sending money from one African country to the other can be daunting; from fluctuating rates to restrictive regulations and even long, confusing payment processes. We get it! And that’s why we built Accrue – a delightful, easy-to-use finance app that allows you to enjoy a seamless, secure, and reliable experience with your cross-border payments.
Get started by downloading the Accrue app from our website and creating your account. Provide the required personal information including your name, email address and phone number and follow the prompts to verify your account. After this, you’ll have full access to Accrue. Fund your account and you’re ready to go (read to the end for more details).
Step-By-Step Guide:
On the Accrue homepage, tap ”Send” on the Funding Balance card at the top of the screen
From there, tap “Within Africa”
Select Cameroon on the ‘Choose Your Destination page’
Input the amount and select the recipient’s bank. Toggle the Auto-assign button if you wish to always automatically be assigned to our trusted agents to process your payments.
Select the recipient’s bank and input their bank details
For security purposes, you may authorize the transaction using your passkey.
Verify the amount you want to send and the amount your agent will send to your recipient, then tap “Initiate payment”
Your transaction is now in progress. All that’s left is our agent’s confirmation.
Once our agent confirms your payment, it means your payment was successful and the amount would be deducted from your Funding Balance.
