The first half of the year has been an exciting chapter for Accrue.
Over the past six months, we launched new products and features, celebrated important milestones, strengthened our community, expanded our team, and continued building tools that help people and businesses manage money across borders.

As we reflect on everything we have achieved so far, one thing is clear: Accrue continues to grow because of the people who believe in what we are building: our customers, partners, community members, and team.
Here is a look at some of the moments that made the first half of the year special.
Accrue Turned Four
This year, Accrue celebrated its fourth anniversary.
Accrue was built to help Africans across Africa and beyond easily, and over the last four years, we have learned, evolved, and continued to improve how people send, receive, save, and manage money.

Turning four gave us an opportunity to reflect on how far we have come and to appreciate everyone who has been part of the journey. It also reminded us that we are only getting started.
We Launched Accrue Stamps
We introduced the Stamp feature to make sending money across borders more delightful for our users.
Stamps give users a new way to stay engaged and celebrate progress along the way. It’s my favourite Accrue feature right now.

We Introduced the Accrue Ambassador Program
Some of our strongest growth has always come from members of our community sharing Accrue with the people around them.
To make that experience even more rewarding, we launched the Accrue Referral Program. The program gives customers the opportunity to invite friends and family to join Accrue and earn rewards for helping our community grow.
It is our way of thanking the people who continue to recommend, support, and champion Accrue.

We Launched Euro Accounts
The launch of Euro accounts marked another important step in our mission to make cross-border money payments easier.
With Euro accounts, customers have more flexibility when receiving, holding, and managing money in euros. This addition expands the financial possibilities available to our users and makes Accrue even more useful for people with international income, expenses, and financial goals.
As our customers become increasingly global, we remain focused on building products that move with them.
We Relaunched Accrue Business
We relaunched Accrue Business with a renewed focus on helping businesses manage international payments and financial operations more efficiently.
Businesses need fast, reliable, and flexible tools to receive payments, make transfers, manage payroll and teams, and operate across markets. The relaunch reflects what we have learned from business owners and gives us a stronger foundation for supporting companies as they grow.

We Brought the Community Together at Accrue Hangout
Accrue has always been about more than products. It is also about people.

We Showed Up at Tech Fest
We were outside at Tech Fest, joining other builders, innovators, and technology enthusiasts to exchange ideas and contribute to conversations shaping the future of technology and finance.
Events like Tech Fest give us the opportunity to share our work, connect with our users, meet members of the wider ecosystem, and represent the possibilities emerging from Africa’s technology industry.

Our Team Grew
Behind every launch, event, campaign, and customer experience is a team committed to moving Accrue forward.
During the first half of the year, we welcomed new people to the Accrue team. Our growth has brought fresh perspectives, new skills, and even more energy into the company.
As our products and community expand, so does the team responsible for supporting them. We are proud of the culture we continue to build, one rooted in collaboration, ownership, curiosity, and a shared belief in Accrue’s mission.
We Welcomed an Accrue Baby
One of the most heartwarming moments of the year was welcoming a new Accrue baby into the crew.
This joyful milestone gave the entire team another reason to celebrate. As much as we value product launches and business growth, moments like this remind us that our journey is also made up of personal stories, growing families, and the lives of the people behind the company.
It was a beautiful addition to an already memorable first half of the year.
